Love Promises at R & G Subaru

R & G Subaru is dedicated to supporting the community around Detroit Lakes. With the Subaru Love Promise Pillars, we support some of the most worthy causes to support our vulnerable community members, pets, schools, and local efforts to protect and care for our public outdoor spaces. As part of our Subaru Love Promise Pillars, we support each effort by adopting a local volunteer or charity organization and being a proud participating dealership to support national programs doing the most good.  

We are a proud recipient of the  2023 Gold Customer and Community Commitment Award. This award nationally recognizes Subaru retailers who are making the world a better place while demonstrating an outstanding commitment to supporting passions and causes in local communities. These efforts are focused in important areas such as the environment, community, health, education, and pets.

Subaru Loves Pets

We love our furry friends at R & G Subaru! As part of the Subaru Loves Pets pillar, we partner with the Humane Society of the Lakes to support their adoption events. Our efforts also involve providing support for services to control the stray population, health care, and emergency services.

Subaru Loves Learning

We are proud to partner with local elementary schools and learning programs to support our youngest community members. Subaru Loves Learning is all about supporting teachers and students to deliver school supplies and books where needed. Check out our local efforts at the following schools and programs:

Subaru Loves to Help

Subaru Loves to Help focuses on delivering basic needs to our community members in search of stable housing, food, and emergency services. We support local food banks and non-profits like Disabled American Veterans to deliver supplies and food.

Subaru Loves the Earth

R & G Subaru is proud to support the Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives by partnering with TerraCycle to collect hard-to-recycle trash in our communities around Detroit Lakes. Look for our ongoing efforts to clean up and support our beloved outdoor spaces and waterways.

Subaru Loves to Care

Subaru Loves to Care focuses on supporting people in our community struggling with long-term or life-threatening illnesses. We partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Make-A-Wish, and local hospital, Essentia Health, to provide a little extra warmth and encouragement to help people get through their treatments. That could be donating blankets, hand-written cards of encouragement, or arts and crafts kits.
